MEXICANS FINED IN ROW

PAIR REFUSED SERVICE AT RESTAURANT

START ROUGH HOUSE

"We do not serve Mexicans here; you must go to the kitchen."

This statement from a woman in charge of a restaurant near the Argentine station today is said to have infuriated Paola Zanenda, 1402 West Twenty-fourth street, Kansas City, Mo.

"I'm not a Mexican; I'm an American!" he replied. "You'll have to serve me here!"

The woman, unable to eject the man and his friend, Felix Rosary, called in Adam Woolsey, patrolman, and Woolsey arrested the pair.

In police court the argument was resumed, but was definitely settled by Judge George H. West. He fined each $50.
