Lloyd Collins
Painter, KCKPS Maintenance Shop

“Lloyd Collins, Lead Painter for the KCKPS maintenance shop, has shown superb workmanship and great leadership skills since stepping into the paint/glass department lead position.  ‘No’ is not in his vocabulary and he goes the extra mile to try to accommodate everyone involved.  Lloyd has worked at the district for the last 9 years and is well known and respected throughout the USD 500.  Everyone that knows Lloyd can attest that he will do whatever it takes to get the work done and we are all honored to nominate him for employee of the month”.  Sincerely, Kevin O’Malley, Painter for the KCKPS maintenance shop

Rachel McIlvane
Teacher, West Middle School

“Rachel McIlvane, Grade 8 Math Teacher at West Middle School has been very proactive in helping all new staff to become acclimated to their new work environment by showing gentleness and kindness while helping us to teach to a level of excellence.  She has provided a helping hand in being a resource in bouncing ideas upon the first week of teaching, classroom set up, and instructional strategies.  She cares deeply not only for the work done in her classroom, but the work done down each and every hall of West Middle.  She is a true representation of inspiring excellence “every grownup, every child, every day!”   Sincerely, Ryan Schreiner, Teacher Grade 8 Algebra and Geometry, West Middle School.
