KCK Board of Education Honors February Employees of the Month

award

February 2014 Employees of the Month.

Kevin R. Wills

"Mr. Kevin R. Wills is an outstanding custodian. He goes above and beyond what is expected from a custodian. Mr. Kevin R. Wills organizes his staff so that our school community does not have to worry about the cleanliness or safety of our building. There are many tasks that he can delegate, but if it is asked of him he takes pride in personally making sure everyone in the building gets what they need to do their job effectively. I would say Mr. Wills exhibits 'Five Star Service' under Do The Right Thing."
-- Sincerely, Elvira Randle, principal of West

Laura McNellis

"Being a retired teacher of 32 years, I know the energy and love that goes into going beyond what is required of teaching. As a grandmother of a student attending Frank Rushton, I have been exposed to a special teacher in the KCK school district. Her name is Ms. Laura McNellis, 5th grade teacher. My granddaughter is going through severe health problems and Ms. McNellis has gone above the norm to teach the class love, care and concern for Anna. These lessons will be of great value to them. Ms. McNellis dedication is something you don't see every day! She deserves Employee of the Month."
-- Sincerely, Texanna Ollenberger, grandmother
