Musical Magic is Happening in the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools

You are invited to enjoy upcoming events featuring Kansas City, Kansas Public School’s (KCKPS) student musicians. 

  • The J. C. Harmon High School Orchestra will be performing on Thursday, November 9 with the Kansas City, Kansas Community Orchestra. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. in the J. C. Harmon High School Auditorium, 2400 Steele Road, Kansas City, KS 66106. This performance is free and open to the public.
  • The KCKPS Mariachi Ensemble is participating in a workshop with musicians from the group Mariachi sol de Mexico on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. The workshop will be held in the auditorium at Central Middle School, 925 Ivandale Street, Kansas City, KS 66101. This workshop is free and open to the public.

The KCKPS Mariachi Ensemble will be performing on November 11 prior to Mariachi sol de Mexico’s concert. Their performance will be at 7 p.m. in the lobby at the Carlsen Center at Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66210. This performance is free and open to the public. Tickets to Mariachi sol de Mexico’s concert can be purchased at jccc.edu.
