A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education is hereby called for Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 12:00 p.m., in the third floor Board room of the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center, 2010 N. 59th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.

In addition to regular business itemized in the published agenda, the Board shall continue work on development of the 2018-2019 budget. The Board may recess to executive session to establish budget parameters pursuant to the exception for Employer-Employee Negotiations under the Kansas Open Meetings Act.

As some students enjoyed Field Day activities, other students were turning dirt for the groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the kick-off to improvements at Grant Elementary School.
