Mask Policy Discussion The Board discussed the District's current mask policy during a regular board meeting and asked for parents', guardians', and staff's input. Dr. Anna Stubblefield shared results from the ThoughtExchange platform survey, which asked if the Board should continue with the current policy requiring masks or not. KCKPS-USD 500 Standard Board Meeting Modifications to 2022-23 Calendar The Board of Education approved modifications to the 2022-23 school calendar as submitted on behalf of the calendar committee. The changes approved by the committee shows returning to work on August 4, 2022 for a half day in-service and a half day of classroom prep. August 10th through 12th will be Family Advocacy Days. Special Board Meeting The Board of Education held a Special Meeting to hear updates from the boundary committee led by Lenora Miller, Executive Director of Operations. Also, the board was provide an update on the KCKPS Bond Referendum presented by JE Dunn.
