To our KCKPS Families and Wyandotte County Residents,
Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools is happy to announce that once again this summer we will be serving meals to anyone between the ages of 1 to 18 years of age for free over the summer months.
Starting on Monday, June 7th, the district will offer our Grab and Go Meal Service at six of our school locations from Noon to 2pm. You will not need to show a student ID and this is for all Wyandotte County residents. Those planning to use the service are asked to pre-register for meals. This is just a one-time ask from the district so that meals and locations are staffed and covered correctly to meet the needs.
You can register for meals by going online to: https://tinyurl.com/4yysh726 or by calling Nutritional Services Main Phone (913) 627-3900.

Do I need to get out of my car when I arrive to pick up my meals?
No, you will not have to get out of your vehicle. When you arrive, pull up to the distribution area to pick up your meals. We ask that all patrons picking up a meal, whether in a vehicle or walking up, wear a mask. As long as your child is registered for pickup, you will NOT have to have them in the vehicle at the time of pick up.
Does a parent or guardian have to be present?
Guardians and parents are not required to be present during meal pickup. The student/child will just need to be registered for the location they are picking up from.
How many meals are served?
2 breakfast and 2 lunch meals each day
What if my child is in summer school?
Summer school students will receive a breakfast and lunch on the day’s classes are in session. Summer school students can also pick up two meals on Friday, but will need to register at the location they plan to pick up from.
