Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) – Summative State Assessment

All students in grades 3-8, 10 and 11 participate in the summative state assessment each spring. In spring of 2019, students in grades 3-8 and 10 will test in English Language Arts and Mathematics; grades 5, 8 and 11 will also participate in Science. The state History/Government Social Studies (HGSS) assessment is given every other year at grades 6, 8 and 11 and will next be given in spring of 2020.
